Encourage Dog Lovers to Adopt 💕

For some reason, humans are obsessed with the AKC’s list of most popular dog breeds. They love to see which breeds earn the top spots, and sometimes, it even helps them choose a breed for themselves. However, posting a list of popular breeds isn’t as innocent as it seems. (Click title to read more!)

If you ask most humans, they’ll likely tell you that they LOVE dogs, especially if they have a dog of their own. However, I don’t think every human loves dogs in the same way. As much as we love our dogs, there are times when people can’t properly care for their pups. We are a part of the family, so we need to be fed, looked after, and loved just like your human family members are. Not every dog parent is able to fully commit to their dog, so sometimes tough decisions need to be made. (Click title to read more!)

My first shelter spotlight post is about one that Molly is very familiar with. HAWS (Humane Animal Welfare Society) was one of Molly’s favorite shelters growing up. It’s an animal shelter in Waukesha, Wisconsin, and Molly loved visiting it to see all the adorable dogs, cats, and other animals! HAWS was first established back in …
