Hi, my name is Chloe! My family adopted me from JR’s Pups-N-Stuff about 7 years ago. I was originally from Kentucky, but I was shipped up to Wisconsin in hopes of finding my forever home. Luckily, I found the perfect family right away.
Just like most rescue dogs are, I was a bit nervous at first. There were lots of new things that I had to adjust to. For example, I used to be terrified of riding in the car, but now, I love going for car rides with my family!
Over time, I got very comfortable in my new surroundings. I mellowed out a lot and grew very attached to my family. I often get sad when they leave me alone, but that’s just because I love being around them so much!
Recently, I got trained to be a therapy dog! This means that I get to go around and help people. I enjoy having kids read to me at the library and I love visiting the elderly to keep them company. My calm and sweet nature brings joy to lots of people around me.
I am so happy that I was able to find my place with my family. They have given me so much love over the years, and I feel like I really belong with them.
