Mabel the Rescue Dog

Hi, my name is Taco! I’m a Jack Russel Terrier mix. I guess I’m kind of like Mabel’s brother, but sadly, I don’t have my own blog. I won’t lie, I’m a little jealous! I’m glad to finally get a chance to tell my story though.

I was rescued by Fred way back in 2014, but I wasn’t at a shelter or a rescue. I was living with a different family at the time, but they had another dog and they just had a kid, so sadly, they didn’t have enough time to care for me too.

Luckily, Fred came to give me a new home and a new life. I can’t remember exactly how old I was at the time, but he says that I was probably less than a year old. He had always wanted a dog, so I was glad I could make him happy. I made myself at home in my new surroundings almost right away.

Since then, Fred and I have had so much fun together! I love running around and playing with toys, although sadly, I usually destroy all my toys pretty quickly. I even got to come with him to college, which is where we met Mabel and Molly.

Mabel and I didn’t get along very well at first. We’re both very jealous dogs, so we don’t like having to share attention. However, now we live together, and as much as I hate to say it, I actually enjoy having her around. I’m just so lucky to have Fred and Molly around to give me the love I deserve!
